My research explores the influences and exchanges between modern Hebrew and German literature and culture, with an emphasis on Zionism. I focus on the intersection of aesthetics, nationalism, and cultural revival in modern Jewish contexts. My dissertation, "Senses of Zionism: Aesthetic Education in the Hebrew Revival," reframes the Hebrew Revival (1881-1947) as an aesthetic project rooted in Schillerian ideals of sensory education through art. My article “’Deborah in Captivity’ or ‘Beyond the World’?—Else Lasker-Schüler’s Hebrew Reception” appeared in 2021 in the Yearbook for European Jewish Literature Studies.
